Orthoses are orthopedic aids that we use to control the function of individual parts of the body in order to improve the functional status.
They serve to immobilize or stabilize one or more joints, to control the direction, speed and range of movement, to prevent and correct deformations, and to improve function or replace functional deficiencies.
Modern orthoses that can be found in the OrtoSar range are lighter in weight, attached with a velcro strap, or have the function of a brace, and are therefore easier to put on and take off, and are more aesthetically acceptable.
